French Defense: Drones Banned Over Paris Olympics

Makes sense. At this point in time, the consumer drone and pilot is not properly equipped to fly freely at the Games. I'm not sure what areas of the city are restricted so I hope it's not the entire metro area. I think arrest is a bit much (and I can give my opinion on why later if you are interested) and I wish the situation would "evolve" but I realize no one is really interested in "drones" unless it's the official Olympics Drone so there's that.

It is not only due to olympics , Paris is a no fly zone full year, just check the local drone laws and apps like dronespot
