Front USB port not connecting to DJI app

Hello,

Anyone had an issue and or solved it for the front USB port not working? I'm using a Pixel 2 XL, when I connect the cable(USB C) top the phone the phone sees it and charges but I can' t connect to the DJI app. Everything works fine when using the side port.

You have to remove everything from the side plug for the bottom to work. Even just the blank cable.
