Ft Lauderdale Florida

I'm about to take a business trip to Ft Lauderdale ( Nova University area ).

Looking at Google Maps, area seems very dense, not many parks of clearances.

Suggestions on flying, if at all?

There is a place called Markham Park - they charge to go in and have an area for RC planes and such - also have a shooting range and off-road bicycle area.

Been there once to ride bikes, pretty big park. I don’t know proximity to airport (not close) but if they have a dedicated RC area then it must be far enough. There is also the sawgrass area which I believe falls under a no fly area - but you could take off from a permitted area and fly into the area.

Anyways - I hope you get some more input from those who live nearby - I live in Wellington - about 44 minutes north.
