The second flying location from our recent day out to North Wales, and this one involved a bit of a walk, the impressive Trefor Quarry, which bisects the hill of Garn For, and the amazing coastal views to Anglesey and over Snowdonia.
Definitely worth the effort to walk up from the free car park to the upper galleries of the quarry, about 2 miles each way, to reveal the amazing views over this immense industrial site.
I wanted to AVATA the quarry buildings, but it was too windy a day on this trip, so the AIR3 was the only option, perhaps next time I will get to fly a little closer in with the AVATA...
