Generic car charger

Hi, the original brand new dji charger is very expensive.
I'm considering buying a generic one.
Are they safe to use?
Is there any influence on the performance of the battery?

Hi, I use a car Laptop charger. Since it's multi utility I don't need to carry many chargers.

I bought a very inexpensive (generic) car charger for my first mavic pro and it fell apart the first time I tried to use it. Sorry I don't remember the exact product name or Amazon link I used. The plastic & metal piece that plugs into the lighter socket just fell into pieces immediately.

Turns out after 2 years that I never needed to use one anyway. A new DJI car charger came with my Mavic 2 Fly More kit, and I've never used that one either. It is built much better than the generic one was.
