Geo... Something

Hi guys.

Yesterday I was flying around and noticed that, just before taking off, a Class D airspace warning message popped up. I noticed also that in dji go 4 there was a Geo...something... options that now I can't find anymore. I searched for all the menu, but can't find that stuff...

Any help?

Thanks

Make sure your drone is connected and go to the map view. Right upper corner you'll find the settings.

Your drone was close to or in Class D. Not a problem when prior cleared with the local airport manager or, likely in this case, tower.

Thanks.

I tried but had just 3 settings: map center on present position, map orientation, map overlay (satellite, hybrid, etc...)

I saw the Geo option in a menu (can't remember where exactly), but can't find it anymore ... :(

Last time I saw it was in the menu section like the three dots. Let me take a look and I will be back.
Yeah it is under the... Menu when the drone is hooked up.

Find it?

If you are referring to Geo fencing, when the app is hooked up to the rc and drone, it is under the "..." menu at the very bottom under the three dots menu again.

That's my dji go 4 screenshot... No mention of any Geo...

Is this what you are looking for?

From what I can tell once you agree to ignore it's warnings it disappears as a menu option. I have updated the App and down graded it and it's still gone! I only saw it once on my first flight out.

Mine shows up and stays there.

Did you leave it enabled? When I disabled it mine disappeared.
It kind of makes sense that it would! DJI would not want somebody to disable it then have a serious crash and re-enable it afterwards. They could then make a claim that the system never warned them. By removing it they are basically saying your on your own. It does not bother me, I never want to see it again.

Pretty sure that it one of the few settings I have not touched.

So the theory is that if you disable it, you will NEVER be able to enable it again? That seems like a really dumb way to code it.

The other thing that bothers me... supposedly the GEO fence data is stored in the Mavic, and there really isn't a way to disable the prevention of flying in No Fly zones. What exactly does disabling the GEO on DJI Go 4? Does it PARTIALLY disable it, or fully?
