Hi all,

I'm a total newbie to flying drones and have a quick question I hope someone can help me with please.

Noticed the horizon line was off which seems the norm so before correcting it by changing gimbal roll I tried to calibrate the gimbal instead.

This didn't fix the issue. Now I've noticed when the drone starts up the camera is at a 45 degree angle, then it changes to something like 25 degrees before settling on something that is only marginaly out. This happens in a space of a few seconds.

Never noticed this before when starting up the drone so not sure if this is normal, can anyone confirm if this is ok?

I ended up altering the gimbal roll by .5 and it looks pretty spot on.

Thanks in advance!

Well the gimbal definitely does a fancy dance going to useless angles at power up which is normal if that answers your question. I think also that the gimbal positions itself based on the attitude of the Mavic, even when not flying.
