I had a small crash which caused my gimbal plate rubber bands to come out. I got the band's back in but I am getting the errors "gimbal gyroscope error" and "gimbal overload error".

The camera does the flip up and down when the drone is turned on and sends video but I am unable to control any part of the gimbal from the controller/phone. The camera is also tilted and does not auto stabilize when moving the drone around (footage is shaky when in flight).

I have tried the imu calibration but it hasn't fixed it. I plan to replace the ribbon cable, could this possibly fix the problem or would a whole gimbal/camera replacement be required?

Sort of sounds like the gimbal has a "catch" in it as it attempts to move. You sure it didn't get jammed from the crash? (Mounting plate put back together correctly?)
