Gimbal repair question

Hopefully someone can offer some insight:

Crashed my mavic and broke the gimbal ribbon and gimbal vibration absorption board. The camera still worked (I was still getting a feed to the app).

Replaced everything and the video feed stopped. Trying to troubleshoot, I removed the new ribbon and the feed started working again.

Any thoughts on what the issue could be?

I know that.

When the broken ribbon is on, there is a video feed. However, when I put the new ribbon on, the video feed stops.
