Gimbal ribbon cable

I’m getting a gimbal overload error message.
Also says make sure gimbal clamp is off.

My question is this:
Does the gimbal ribbon cable control gimbal movement or is it the signal cable?

Or another ribbon cable?

The Gimbal ribbon cable Is for gimbal move moment. The video feed cable is for video feed.
