Gimbal

I have had about 5 flights , I have not had any crashes or hard landings and today when I finished my flight I couldn't put the gimbal clamp on properly , after looking I noticed the gimbal plate was above the left front tab ,
I moved it under tab very easy and the gimbal clamp fitted perfect .
It seams strange that gimbal plate would move .
Any ideas

Unfortunately this is not that uncommon, happened to me once or twice. Doesn't seem like a very good design for a $1,000 item.
