GO 4 App update question

HI, simple question.

Im currently in an area with really low 3G signal. The app store is telling me the app has an update. Can anyone tell me if this is just for the app, or is there a chance it will try and update firmware etc. I don't have the internet capactity to do a firmware update so i don't want to update the app if it means i won't be able to fly until i get home in a couple of weeks time?

Is the update for the app purely for the app?

It is purely for the app. You can just click ignore for now, till you get back home.
