GO4 firmware update

I have new CS ... go4 is at .18. Latest I am told is .22
How do I update the CS go4?
Do I need to be connected to controller and drone?

The CS updates are slightly behind the iOS & Android releases, the CS install is a special build.

The CS will notify you when an update is available, it will update when connected to Wi-Fi or you can connect it to Assistant 2 although I have always received updates over Wi-Fi direct to the device.

You do not need to be connected to the drone or the controller.
