Lost two prime aerial flying days from this simple error.
Hope this remedy saves you.
Short version: USB Cable broke internally. Get new cable.
And watch for notice "DJI Accessory" needs to connect. Ok?
So planned a special flight for morning. All batteries charged.
Then on site I couldn't get Connection.
Go4 starts up.
Controller starts up.
Aircraft starts up.
Controller can operate gimbal. Good clue.
But "Disconnected"
Back at desk, got it working.
After formatting cache and SD Card.
Thought that was solved.
So all clear yes? No.
Went to another great site at sunset.
Same error - couldn't get Connection.
This time I noticed it didn't ask for Go4 or Litchi to connect with "DJI Accessory"
Thought there might be a software config issue I'd messed up
since last time I was connected I'd changed Cache to SD Card.
Then this morning, I tried a new USB cable. Way too long, but at least I knew it was good.
All worked !
Connected after GO4 asked to connect with "DJI Accessory" again. (Because I never checked the "Never ask again" box)
Examined USB Cable and the "C" connector came off in my hands. Highly likely the cable was connecting erratically.
So if you can't connect and Go4 (probably same with other aircraft using DJI-Fly) doesn't ask to connect with "DJI Accessory" - you might have a bad or erratically working cable.
Hope this can help you solve a weird problem.
