Goggles firmware v01.03.1000 and Mavic firmware v01.03.700

I prefer using firmware v01.03.700 on my Mavic Pro, opposed to using any later firmware.
However, I would like to try firmware v01.03.1000 on the goggles to try out some of the changes.

Has anyone tried this combination of .700 on the Mavic and .1000 on the goggles?
Does it work? (I realize the goggles Head-Tracking feature may no longer function).

I am a bit leery of trying it out myself since if I decide I don't like firmware .1000 on the goggles ,
DJI Assistant 2 may not allow me to downgrade the goggles back to .700.
(The Mavic would be staying on .700 regardless).

Why not use Dumbledor, it's free and does the same thing?

I did and it works fine. You do loose head tracking of course. Keep in mind there are two 1000 versions of googles firmware, the second one having an apparently failed implementation of anti-rollback of firmware. Personally I tried it (the first 1000 version) and went back to 0700 just for lols.
