Going to St Louis this summer

So that leads me to think where can I fly. Naturally that leads to the Arch, now I've seen videos on YouTube of people flying around it. So I'm curious if they got approval or just went rogue lol. Does anyone here have any info on that or where to fly in St. LOUIS

It's a national park, basically forbidden territory. Good luck on getting approval. If they give it to you they'll have to give it to thousands. Trust me , they won't. Might launch from the east side of the river and get some pretty awesome shots though, especially in the early morning before the park rangers get their **** together and start their shift. should be good easterly lighting too. Park in the casino parking lot on the east side, much safer. You will be in East St. Louis you know!

Avoid East St. Louis at all costs. When I first moved to the area, I drove through there at night on my way to St. Louis(I lived on the Illinois side) and had a dude with an AK run up to my car trying to sell me crack at a stop sign. Never again

Wow... They are raw there, an AK47? I will pee myself just to see something like that on the street close to me from a drug dealer.
