Is there a built in overlay in DJI go for the Golden ratio. Or is there a work around for this?

No but that would be nice. You’d have to build your own app and use the SDK.

Work around would be put some rubber bands around the device you use?

They mean instead of the grid being rule of thirds can it be changed to golden ratio

If you really want to compose that way, it's not hard to use the standard grid and offset a little.

I haven’t seen any like that. I think that’s just showing the golden geometry in all 4 orientations. Doing the the outer layer without the grid is one thing but doing the inner layers without the is tough.

I know but with that one you can overlay the spiral in any direction. At any rate we are saying the same thing
