Got to see this Meteor !

Hope no one was fishing near that 🫣

Fake.

Impact at the horizon of a sea or ocean, viewed from standing height at the water's edge (like shown here) is gonna be roughly 3 miles. Sound travels at 1,100 feet per second so that should take about 14. 5 seconds - give or take. Certainly not 2 seconds.

And this type of thing (speed and distance), is where good animators and special effects people fall apart, even in Hollywood. I will admit that is pretty good though, that shot would fit right into a Michael Bay Movie. 🤣

LOL. Okay that is totally real. 🤣 I especially like when the 'mysterious' hovering vehicle crashes into the sea and we hear the splash sound immediately.

If you check the actual YouTube video, the author of it clearly states that it was "Made with After Effects and Davinci Resolve." It's a really well done fake (except for the unrealistically short delay) ... but it IS a fake.

Nice how the sand immediately returns to how it was before, as soon as the shockwave has passed.
