Was checking on some sheep and sighted this interesting pattern caused by grasses leaning over.

Pretty easy to see where the sheep have been. They are thorough with their mowing endeavors.

Shows how mobile they are. If you look closely you see the main mob then the odd one who has snuck off for a quiet feed

I was surprised as they have only been in a couple of days.

Cattle and such usually use the lay lines under the ground to determine where they walk through fields. Until now, with the use of drones for easy aerial views, it was not easy to see those tracks as clearly, from the ground, compared to how easy it is to see them from the air. It's interesting to see how in-tune animals are, with what is underfoot with/from nature, such a s lay lines.
