Good article, I use the Assistant exclusively for all my post-activation needs across all drones and compatible accessories from software updates, to rollbacks and refreshes, and even release notes and dates. The key is to get it working on your computer (I use a Mac) and then don't ever touch it again; just let it work. However, for first activation of the drone when it comes to Terms and Care and other items I may not be aware of, I'll use wifi and the built-in OTA process on the drone plus remote and Fly just to be on the safe side.
