Greetings from S. Arizona

I also have a Platinum as my first drone. Love it and this forum for info.
I bought a Platinum and love it. Quick story... B4 flying my Plat I decided to buy a cheap cheap Drone X just to see if I liked it. I ended up buying 3, buy 2 get one free thing. Anyway, I went out with my first one and was excited, anxious, and fired that baby up and took off. Well I then got confused and it took off, and off, and off LOL. I just watched it float off into oblivion. Oddly enough it was still a blast. My Platinum was on its way. Then I thought what if I did the same thing. So I bought a Mini just in case I lost it it would be $500.00 vs $1200.00 down the tube. I love them both. But read the instructions closely and and learn flight before just making the mistake I did. You will have a blast.

Haha,,,,set your loss of Signal to RTH I have learned and always check that setting before flying.
My Platinum just bit my leg and thumb and drew blood cause it drifted on me when I didn't calibrate the compass and IMU, not to mention was too close obviously. Little sharp knives woofwoof :). But all pilot errors on my part.

New on the Board, new drone sitting on the desk in front of me -- Mavic Air 2. Looking forward to this!
