Chickenhoss, I'm in Hutchinson, I have the V20 but Im getting a mini 4 so I dont have to worry about app crashes and can do fun things like this.

Have looked at the new iPad? I was contemplating the Mini 4 as well, but the new iPad that just came out is well priced in direct comparison to the mini 4. Just a thought.

Am I oblige to update my Mavic to .600 for Hangar 360 use. It seems I need to update my drone.See below picture from Hangar App and Mavic Any experience with non .600 and Hangar use?

Tried 360 and had error about sdk? Should have screenshot the error but the mavic hung in the air at 147 feet with no response on the sticks. Put sport mode on and it flew back down. Realized I had DJI go running. Might have been the problem. Just a heads up. Going to be nervous on my next try but no use keeping the mavic in the box to keep it safe.

I think the 7-8" screen is big enough. It fits in the controller good.

Can you reset the height? Or is it just 300ft. I'd like to do one from the top of a building..

Oh you'll love the mini 4 it is the perfect size. You'll have to do a 360 and post from Hutch!

No you don't have to be at .600, it should work with other lower versions - I can't remember but I think I did mine with .500

I've been using .400 no problem with Hangar 360.

You can put it at whatever height you choose.

Is it safe to use Hangar?
I saw a note today at the latest iOS update saying:

*Emerging Issue* - This is not just related to this build of Hangar 360, but with newer DJI Firmware, the aircraft does not currently alert the user if they are in the improper flight mode for autonomous flight in non-DJI apps, like Hangar 360. Keep this in mind when attempting to start a mission, it may pause and state "Traveling to 300 ft." indefinitely if the aircraft is in the wrong flight mode.

What is the improper flight mode?

Took off came back down all by itself and the sent the photos while out on the field.

Ive used it without problems on the .600 firmware and on the latest Hanger 360 update this morning. Works just fine - just wish I could stop the +.7 over exposure setting!

Looks good. How do you setup camera before you send it up? Just select auto shutter or does app set that up for you?

so you have no control over exposure or shutter? I noticed the sample from rustydiver had more blur in the horizon... I thought it might have been related to shutter. Does the app set all that up and does it focus before starting to take photos? Thanks
