An Exacto blade should be all it takes to slightly enlarge the drone cavity in most existing Mavic 3 hard cases. New foam inserts to match perfectly will be available shortly.

I plan on doing the same thing to enlarge the foam cutouts in my Cynova backpack once I can see where the old Mavic 3 cutout needs to be enlarged.

I ended up ordering the SYMIK P400-M3TL. It has three layers or storage, so it can accommodate a tablet and MavMount bracket. It also has configurable cutouts so that it can accept any of the DJI controllers.

I like this Lykus Titan M340 case because it is only 5.7” thick. Should also fit the RC Pro instead, with some minor tweaking. Batteries lie flat, keeping the case very thin.
