Has anyone used the ND64 filters yet?

Just wondering what conditions require the ND64 filter, from some sights it says extremely sunny days, but that's also what is advised for ND32. Also from reading other posts looks like people can get the decent shutter with just the ND32 even on really snowy landscapes. Does that mean they're possibly not getting exactly 2x shutter but a bit higher? or is ND32 really all you need for any extreme lighting scenarios?

Does anyone have any examples? I've seen a lot of people filming on beaches and desserts and none look like they needed the ND64

Because they probably don't?
You might use it to make a long exposure photo.
The 32 is usually enough which is why a lot of sets don't go to ND64
