Hello from Alberta (St Albert)

Greetings from Birmingham Alabama, welcome to the forum!

I can also relate. (Leduc)
I haven't flown in the past week. Too nervous that something could go wrong.
I get the 'nervous' bit. The wintery skies make the grey drones blend into the grey skies, making it tough to maintain that all-important VLOS. The early dark also makes flying tough, and in fact, my drone gave me a series of low light level warnings, and demanded that I recalibrate the compass 'just in case'. The cold reduces flight time, although I've found that the battery meter on the controller is pretty accurate, so I haven't had any sudden RTHs or fly-aways because of the cold. Trying to land the drone to change batteries in a snowbank isn't any fun at all.

With the temperatures bouncing from -12c to -30c flying can be a bit uncomfortable with batteries stuffed in my shirt to keep them warm until I need them.
