Hi All,
Checking in, I'm a long-time r/c rotorcraft pilot (now Part 107, also hold an ancient regular single-engine pilot's licence), been building multirotors since the early APM days when that was pretty much mandatory, built trad helis before that, and own or owned and fly off-the-shelf quads by Gaui, Yuneec, (part)DJI, Traxxass, plus minis/micros, Ms Mavic moved in with me a couple of months ago after the Long Wait, love her, this is the aircraft we've been dreaming about for years! Also fly planks, a little bit of indoor micro-FPV, occasional stunt kites, and on the ground, R/C cars (X-Maxx) and Z-gauge railroading (Markln). AMA member.

Welcome aboard! You can learn a lot from the good folks here and it sounds like you have a lot to share with others, too. The Mavic is a dream realized, that's for sure. You're drone experience dwarves mine and I haven't had my Mavic as long as you have, so I'll keep my eyes peeled for any good tidbits that may come from you.

No sense wishing you "good luck" since at your stage of the game luck obviously has got nothing to do with it. So happy flying, have fun filming, and skyward ho!
