Hello from Rockland County, Ny. Just upgraded from the air 2 to mavic pro 3. So far I’m amazed. Looking to learn more and share drone locations. I don’t know many spots where I can fly around NY/NJ. Also considering getting my drone lisc. So I can do commercial work.

Around here i like to fly on weekends t the local high school field. Go area to start, wide open. There are some open fields up on and around bear mountain where you can fly, and close enough to the bear mountain bridge where you can do a flyover, especially with the M3. Just make sure not to fly out of the state or national park areas.

Welcome to the forum, a you probably know, there's always flying over the Hudson.
Remember to check your local ordinances.
If you are nearby Memorial Park may be a suggestion to fly over water. Happy Flying
