Welcome to the forum from Chicago the Windy City.
Would love to fly in Paris, been there several times, but without a drone.
do you have some favorite places to fly around Paris?

Paris is strictly forbidden by law and I don't play with that. This offical website tells you where you are allowed to use your drone Géoportail
There's a part of the "Grand Canal" in Château de Versailles which is allowed up to 50m, and I'll give it a try once I'm able to record video.
So far I just used my drone in the countryside. Most useful part was to identify what part of the roof and gutter needed to be fixed ^^
