Hi,

Does anyone know an alternative way to burn firmware files (extension .bin) into DJI Mini 4 Pro ?

Official application DJI Assistant 2 for Consumer Drones only works with online firmwares from DJI.

I tried a third part application callen DroneHacks but unfortunatelly it fails becouse DJI Mini 4 Pro not still supported.

I have a couple of .bin firmware files I would like to try downloaded from DankDroneDownloader site

Any help is wellcome

Regrets.

I have downloaded v1.43 but cannot get it to connect to my Mini 4 Pro it is stuck on searching for device. Any help would be appreciated.

As said, I succesfully conected DroneHacks 1.39 and DJI Mini 4 pro firmware version V01.00.0200

You have to be ready to connect DronHacks as soon USB cable is plugged into the drone. If you are a little late, the drone connects as a storage medium and the update is no longer possible.

Good luck

Yes and not... let me explain:

Using DroneHacks you can change firmware versión, but each firmware file has an antirollback value:

  • V01.00.040 (antillrollback value 0)
  • V01.00.045 (antillrollback value 0)
  • V01.00.200 (antillrollback value 0)
  • V01.00.210 (antillrollback value 0)
  • V01.00.300 (antillrollback value 1)

DJI prevents decreasing antirrollback value.

For example, you can freely switch between versions V01.00.200 and V01.00.210, but once you update V01.00.300 It's a path with no turning back.

In short, you have to think very carefully if you upgrade to a firmware with a higher antirollback value. Personally, I'm still at zero antirollback value.

Best regards.

So can we go back from 0500 to 0300?
