ParaYagi Rules, OK?I got my Yagis today and I found that with the parabolics turned upside down, the big holes fit over the Yagi mount. It was windy so I only went a mile but my reception was perfect and for around me that's really good with all the interference. View attachment 107439
7km . From the same point : Stock 2004m, yagi 4km, parabolics 1700mAny proven better performance than just using a parabolic reflector or a yagi?

Impressive! 14x more than I can legally go.
How sensitive is it to where you point it - ie do you have to point it precisely at the aircraft? At 500m from the controller what angular error can it tolerate while maintaining connection in the same conditions/location as your other tests?
The test is really for signal strength, not distance. Nobody wants to send it 7km, I do that so you don't have to. It'll tolerate around a 20 to 25 degree offset either side of the drone at 500m. After this it reduces, but not below 10 degrees. It's not as sensitive as the reflectors on their own.Yeah. I had the same question.
Most of the YouTube posts seem to be for the Mavic Mini. Anyone have any experience with other Mavic models' RC's or the SC?The test is really for signal strength, not distance. I'd expect some improvement on the other Mavic models too, but they already typically have better range than the Mini with range extenders so there is much less desire to use range extenders on the other mavics. The only real exception is the MA1.Most of the YouTube posts seem to be for the Mavic Mini. Anyone have any experience with other Mavic models' RC's or the SC?
You're right. I've had orders for the Pro and Air. None for the Spark yet, but they'll work with that too.I'd expect some improvement on the other Mavic models too, but they already typically have better range than the Mini with range extenders so there is much less desire to use range extenders on the other mavics.
