First time owning a drone! I've been watching all things DJI, and flew Phantoms that were friends. But I figured Mavic was the way to go!

I sincerely hope you have good luck with the Shield. I had it thinking it was the way to go but after the latest android update, I experienced app crash after crash many times during mid flight. It can get very unnerving. I finally broke down and bought an iPad mini4 and haven't experienced a single problem in 2 months if flying.

Okay, nice haha. Yea, i heard the update really got some bugs in, but downgrading versions really helped. Mini's are alittle out of my price range as of yet, but hopefully the shield won't have too many problems.
