Hey guy's.
New DJI user here from Australia. Went and grabbed the Mavic Pro today...
Really looking forward to getting the Mavic out and giving it a crack. I have an old Xiro Xplorer V that I think I'll use for a few days then get back into the swing of things.
There is a lot of settings in the DJI app. Any recommendations of what to use and not to use.

Also any tips on the best camera settings to use.

I have already looked over that site abit earlier. (Did a lot of research before I brought it)

One thing I did notice when I took it for fly for a few minutes today. I took off from the ground and was flying probably 3 metres from the ground and it was slowly drifting backwards. There was no wind or anything.

Is this normal?

Here are a few scenarios where that would be normal:

• The downward sensors were disabled
• It was too dark for the downward sensors to detect the ground
• The downward sensors had a had a hard time detecting the ground due to the terrain/pattern
• The downward sensors need to be calibrated
• The Mavic was flying in ATTI mode
• It was very windy outside
