Welcome to the forum. We look forward to your participation and your view of the world.
Welcome Martynas! I was born in Kaunas, so it's great connecting with a fellow Lithuanian!Hi guys,
Glad to Join you! I got very positive impression of this forum
I am from Vilnius, Lithuania - very nice country filled with lakes and forests. So obviously I love camping, hiking and kayaking. Also one of my biggest loves is cycling - I do that with my gravel bike, I try to ride remote locations, explore surroundings.
For last 17 years I also have a passion for photography. This is a reason why I bought (2023 october) my first drone - DJI mini 4 pro, to accompany my Canon cameras in my trips.
So I am happy to join you!
Do you recognize these cities in Lithuania. This is where my family originates. See attachment. These are direct decedents. Thanks for warm welcome
Here is couple of videos that I already made (please not that I was in the process of learning, so they are very novice):
Kernavė, medieval capital of Lithuania, hundreds of years ago, very beautiful and picturesque Kernavė (youtube.com),
Nearby to Kernavė:
Suburb of Vilnius, where I Live, not that very impressive, but it is as it is: Pilaitė, Palvininkai, Gėlužės ežeras žiemą (youtube.com)
Hill of cross (Kryžių kalnas) is very unique location, with very unique history. I've never heard of small village of Beržoras, but looking at pictures at wikipedia - it looks impressive!
