How Clean Smudges Landing Piezo(s)

Got a photo so we can see what you're describing?

Use scotch magic transparent tape?
Or it'll separate the iridium coat?
I know this is an older post, but wanted to show what I use. It's called the Lens Pen made by Celestron. I've been using them for years on all of my astronomy optics. It works on any optics really but ones that are coated this in my opinion is the best thing to use. You can pick one up on Amazon for about $12 and they last quite a long time. I will attach a photo of what it looks like in this post. It also has a very fine soft brush built in for brushing off dust from lenses and filters.1554682889590.jpeg1554682918535.jpeg1554682945346.jpeg

Thank you much
The 1st surface coating appears so very fragile. I dont want it compromised.

My pleasure. [emoji16]. Like I stated I have been using these for years on very sensitive astronomy telescope optics and it dose a great job. The cleaning head is just the correct size to clean the main camera lenses and filters as well. Take care.
