Now that I have a Mavic 4 Pro, I originally thought I should sell my Air 3 since I also have a Mini 4 pro. Normally when I up grade my cameras I tend to sell or donate the older ones, knowing they will just sit. I have always felt that someone should enjoy them if not me. When I got the Mini 4 Pro, I gave my Mini 3 Pro to a family member.
Now with the looming possible inability to buy any more DJI drones in the future here in the US. I am thinking of just keeping it as a backup and maybe buying a Mini 5 Pro, if I can. Then keep the Mini 4 as it's backup. Seems like a lot of drones for me, since they are not my main photo tools. I am just a little concerened about what is coming, next year.
To add to my thought process my drone liabilty coverage will only be for two since adding more to the policy is a huge price increase.
Anybody else hanging on to their older drones now more than in the past?

Have so many have lost count. Like you, I give them away to relatives. Even so now that they are not generally available. However, I could be convinced to sell should a true ban go into place and prices in the aftermarket skyrocket. Drone that I am particularly fond of will never be sold (like the Autel Evo 2 Pro and the Skydio S2+) and some I can't wait to get rid of just as soon as I have thoroughly used them (DJI FPV and Avata 1 and Mini 3 Pro). The Mavic 3 Pro is going to be an excellent drone one day for my brother as soon as he gets his fill of the Mavic 4 Pro I gave him.

You can’t have too many, I think I have ~11 now? With all the pending nonsense I’m not getting rid of any until I know there are easily accessible replacements. Until then I have to be conscious of the effects on my business and if I was to need one after selling it. So it’s buy, stack, and save?mode for me!
