How many Mavic owners have had a fault with theirs?

Are you flying in Wi-Fi mode with your phone? or is beginner mode turned on. Is it just the phone that loses connection, (what type of phone?) or the controller? Many questions, little information.

That doesn't make sense. Are you flying with the controller or with WiFi? If WiFi, then a hundred yards is about right.

I will bet this is an issue with the provided cable.
As a test, unplug the cable from the controller. Plug in/use a normal lighting cable into the bottom port of the controller and power on. Fly and see if the issue persists. I bet you it does not. Mine did this until the cable died completely (I did not move or touch the cable).
