Hello Friends :
I was curious if any other fliers have experienced problems with the DJI RC screen controller. I bought an RC controller
in 2023 , as Murphy Law says, it took a dive after 12 months, SADLY DJI would not honor any loyalty and in their words
told me "tuff luck" only one year warranty's are honored. I foolishly bought another from their refurbished site and now this
one the screen went black, lost control of joysticks and drone just hovered at 12 feet until batteries discharged. I have spent hours
with DJI and they will not honor their 1 year warranty even though controller failed at 10 months. I sent to their DJI repair team and
they concluded that a flight and charging module failure and will not cover the fees. They have given many excuses and pointing the finger
as my fault not to honor their warranty. For the time being I am using old reliable N1 controller. To conclude my rambling consider thinking
several times in purchasing this over-rated 700 nits if you are lucky RC controller. I went and bought a newer cheap Samsung phone that
has 1000 plus nits, so much better.

My experience with dealing with DJi with a faulty product was far different, a motor fault on my mini 2 was reported to them Had a reply same day , was given an email address in the U.K. contact that company sent them post paid my drone and two weeks later had a replacement mini 2 that I was able to renew my care plan with, cheers Len

I had a similar experience as LensImages, I mailed in both my N1 controller and Air 2s not knowing what the problem was. They charged me around $150 for a new looking Air 2S but sent back my old controller. When I turned on both and tried to update software and bind the drone, I realized there was a problem with the controller. Luckily I had an RC controller that I was able to update and bind to the aircraft. I notified DJI of the issue but they did not want to deal with the N1 controller issue. I think they just don't want to deal with controller issues, because they should have tested my controller before sending it back to me. I think they just want to replace the aircraft and hope that solves the problem.

I thank you for taking the time to reply. After about 7 e-mails back-and-forth with DJI, I was offered a 50% discount on repairs for my second failed RC which I took, a person in todays world has to pay attention to all
the fine print on warranties, as I found RC controllers have a 1 year warranty, unless they find a minor discrepancy
in their favor , then we are liable for repairs.

That’s too bad you had to experience all that bad luck at your expense

I'll add that I've also had fairly good luck with DJI support. Not 100% satisfactory in that I had to dog them to do a full "new" replacement rather than sending me a refurb, but finally they did.

, after being persistent I was truly, truly, truly impressed with their support and attention and they made it all well
