I am thinking of selling a Mavic Pro good condition (with controller, 2 batteries, DJI ND filters, charger) that I bought in Jan 2017. What's the going rate for one of these?

You might shop around eBay and other selling sites to get an idea of what it's worth to help with a price.

Good luck with the sale if you decide to part with it.

Always a good idea to let people know where you are, has a big bearing on location pricing and currency values.

As noted above, best to just search any selling type sites (including here) and see what people are asking for theirs, how fast they sell, and (if you can find out) how much it went for.
Then compare your M1P package against theirs and adjust asking price, making it reasonable for both parties.

Based on extensive eBay research that preceded my recent purchase of a Mavic Pro, prices for lightly used examples of this platform range between $600 USD to $ 800 USD, depending on the condition of the drone, and whether or not extra batteries are thrown in with the deal. Mavic Pros with defective camera gimbals sell for between $450 to $500 USD.

With drone laws becoming more draconian throughout the industrialized West, I would expect prices to fall significantly during the coming months for older drones that are not equipped with on-board user-ID telemetry, so if your mind is made up to sell that Mavic Pro, strike while the iron is hot, and sell it sooner rather than later.

I recently bought one off eBay with what all you have plus a case, several sets of props, a couple of sets of filters and a few more little extras for $525.

That is one heck of a deal you got. Typical prices for this make and model run $100 to $200 above the price you paid. This was a stroke of good luck, and in your shoes, I'd consider a trip to Vegas while I'm on a roll.

With the potential for the Mavic 3 getting closer the price will fall even more with each week you wait. Keep it as a spare of sell it now :)

Never sell the MPP, great backup drone that's fully customizable from within the firmware.
Another reason it's cheaper to keep her is that Mavic Pro and Pro Platinum, along with the Phantom series, may well be the last ever DJI drones configured to store GPS data onboard, enabling those two models to fly fully autonomous missions out beyond the controller's signal range, using autopilot apps like Litchi or DroneLink. Granted that full autopilot drone missions are forbidden in many parts of the world, it is worth remembering that long-range autonomous drone sorties are perfectly legal in quite a few others.

I'm currently the owner of a Mavic Pro, and will shortly take delivery of a Mavic Pro Platinum, both of which I will never contemplate selling for as long as I live. All things considered, I likely won't ever have a need to buy any newer drone designs than these two tried and tested Gen 1 Mavic platforms, especially when their ahem "modification" potential is taken into account.

This is one of the biggest reasons I bought a used one. I flashed it with a custom firmware and did some parameter changes in DJI assistant in developer mode. Also I know my son wants to learn and I don't want him flying the Air 2
