I saw this video by Aldryn Estacio on YouTube. He posts some really informative and accurate drone videos. Check him out! So after you launch from your landing pad & have received the “home point updated” message don’t fly off just yet. Ascend straight up 7 metres (23 feet). UAV Hover for a few seconds then fly off. Apparently this gives the drone far greater accuracy of landing on the home point. I tried it a few times and my MA2 hit the pad ever time within an inch or so!
 
As Drone Master mentioned, this behavior is described in the manual.

Lol yep just like dawg says..... And for guys and gals not to savvy with conversion 7 Meters is 22 feet and 11. 5 inches ;) so literally 1/2 inch from 23ft.... just take the bird up when you get "birtha" on the horn with " your home point is updated". take off and at a relatively easy pace!... No speedy top gun shenanigans and also not to slow! i usually do 23 to 25ft literally let the ac sit there vertically for a second and off i go horizontally into the ye ole' yonder....
