How to upload to YouTube using highest quality?

Anyone know how to upload footage from the Mavic Mini to YouTube in 4K?

I've imported my footage into iMovie and done some basic editing however every time I try to upload it to YT, in 4K, it fails straight away, however if I select 1080 then it uploads fine.

I know the Mini is 2.7K and not 4K so not sure if that's the issue? I've watched plenty of Mavic Mini footage videos on YT in 4K though so didn't think it would've been an issue.

For anyone interested or in the same situation I got it working with iMovie.

The fix for me was to upload the video as private - that was literally it lol it’s set to private by default but initially I was changing it to public and it kept failing. I left it on private this time and it uploaded with no errors. I did it with 3 videos. You can then change it to public from within YT.
