Howdy from Seattle (ish)

Welcome. Sorry about your Android issue. DJI drones do work slightly better with Apple Products. I have been flying them with an iPad Mini 4 for a couple years now. I almost hate to say it but it is less fuss and muss than my android devices.

The user experience sounds a bit more ymmv on Android. I got lucky in that apparently my mate 10 pro is on the supported list. I also got an Nvidia shield tablet so that I could easily connect its hdmi output to a cheap pair of goggles and that has worked very well too.

Hello,
It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Mavic Pilots forum.
I hope that you will be able to use the forum to further your safety knowledge and for the exchange of innovative ideas and as a resource for current developments in Mavic quadcopter’s.

After flying some toys, we picked up a Mavic 2 Pro. Biggest complaint is that for Android it insists on charging my phone, which shortens battery on the remote. The "5 D" control only has 4 settings? Push in does nothing and is not programable.
Howdy from Wyoming @Kombucha , welcome to the community, plenty of fine folk and excellent information here.
