A place that always intrigues me! Whenever I am on a tour through here, I like to stop and intoduce this place to other bikers. A fascinating mix of Buddhism & Hinduism. Created by Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat of Laos.

That takes me back! I've actually never been to the park in Thailand but I went to the similar park on the Laos side of the Mekong river called Buddha Park. Very similar, according to Wiki they were both built by Luang Pu Bunleua Sulilat .

Yes, he left Laos in the mid 1970's as he was concerned about the Communist Revelution happening at the time..
The Thai park Sala Keoku is named after his Spiritual Mentor and Friend Keoku.
