Huge Ship Heading Out of Tampa Bay

This oil tanker (I think that's what it's called), was being escorted out of the bay, heading out into the Gulf of Mexico in Tampa. I had to fly about a mile and a half to get this shot. I'm still a newbie, so any constructive criticism is welcome! :)

Nice vid. I was just there recently looking out at the Bay. My comment, and Im fairly new at this myself, but one thing I commonly see and try not to do, is jerky or fast gimbal movement when panning. There was a few pan moments where you panned a bit quickly and suddenly.

There is an adjustment in the menu for tweaking the gimbal speed. I slowed mine down by about 1/3 using the Main Menu>Gimbal Settings>Advanced Settings. Even then, it takes a gentle touch to move it in a non-distracting way. Also, I find it very helpful to put the control sticks in Exponential mode. I think I bumped the Exp settings to +0.3 (going by memory, dont have it in front of me). Handy for when you cant use Tripod mode and need to keep it on 'P' mode, like when chasing down a ship. Exponential will make the control sticks not very sensitive for, say, the first 1/3 travel from center. Then as you keep moving the stick it will increase sensitivity to catch up to full input at the max stick movement. This setting makes it much easier to use yaw, fwd/back and lateral movement to pan the camera, but still stay smooth and non-distracting.

Thats all I got. Keep filming and have fun!
