Hyper lapse in follow mode?

Can I do a hyper lapse in follow mode. Or do you just have to speed it up in post? I was following a tractor rolling hay bales today and thought it would be cool to have a hyper lapse of the flight

Not sure you can do it in follow mode, but you can set POI. Will that do it?
