Outstanding habit ,nice workI visited the Manasquan Inlet along the Jersey Shore on Sunday morning to capture a few boats headed out to the Atlantic.
Bravo! Beautiful work. Great flying and editing. Excellent selection of music track although I thought it a bit "Irish" in melody which it is not in Jersey Shore. I agree with other commenters in that the hyperlapse section was unnecessary.I visited the Manasquan Inlet along the Jersey Shore on Sunday morning to capture a few boats headed out to the Atlantic.
Thanks for the feedback. If I had to do it again, I might take out the part where I sped the boats up. Anyways, I had a lot of footage from the weekend, so I made another video. This one focuses less on the boats. Commercial fishing boats are really great subject. I wish I would have seen some more coming out of the inlet. But that was the only one I saw. That's some downright beautiful work. Very smooth flying and great editing. The two opening clips are superb; beautiful light, interesting motion, and rich colors. The music suits the content very well.
(Unsolicited comment, ignore at will: To me, the hyperlapse segment doesn't suit the majestic mood of the rest of the content..)
If you take requests, how about another video focusing on the commercial fishing boats, without the sportfishermen and train? There's something appealing about the notion of those strong workboats leaving the security of the harbor to venture out onto the unpredictable open sea; going to work; leaving everyone else behind and relying on yourselves and your vessel.
