Hi Guys,
I am really dreaming of having a propeller cage designed like the Intel drone, meaning four 3d printed wireframe toroids that enclose the props.
There is the cage that DJI sells but is reducing perfomances and is too expensive to produce or buy.
I think that something like shown above will be much better for cost, ease to manufacture and flight efficency, amongst protecting also the body of the Mavic.
Now my questions are:
1) Does anybody have already created that?
2) Is anybody interested in teaming up and create an "Open source" object?
I have reminisces of 3D modeling, so maybe having a precise reference 3D model of the Mavic this cages could then be designed.
Really I'd love to create it as a community project although I think that commercially could be a huge success but yet as a hobbyist I think to do it as "Open source"
