i just got a new mavic pro drone and cant get the thing work its all charged up i got the aircraft to turn on the controller to turn on but

nothing is working all the icons says N/A I got the official mavic Go 4 app on my phone it's showing locating but the controller SCREEN is saying MAG INYERF I'm a girl female gender trying to get into this Arial photography for my art works and omg I can't get it to work for me but I work out how to turn of the aircraft an RC unit can i get some he'll in getting my aircraft of the ground flying an taking pictures an movies please can some one help me in my problem

there is a little switch on the mavic pro behind one of the little doors left or right. put the switch to rc instead of wifi.

I'm wondering if you might have been folled by DJI not including the manual in the box?

This usually indicates a problem with the compass and can be caused by electronic devices or metal objects near the aircraft and can be often remedied by moving to a new location away from the source of the interference and calibrating the compass if required.

I get that if I’m near my WiFi router indoors. Or within a meter or 2 of something steel like park bench, fence etc.

Does your mavic flash yellow light or green light? Is it connecting at all?

Meta4 has provided you with the instructions, please read them. The warning is as everyone has stated a Magnetic Interference Warning. If you did manage to fly, it would likely fly away.

Move to a new location and calibrate IMUs and Compass, check them in the app before taking off every time. Your drone could be trying to fly back to you if not corrected and actually be going off on its own solo adventure.

If you were trying to take off from concrete like a sidewalk or driveway they frequently have steel rebar reinforcement which will produce the magnetic interference error you are getting. Don’t have enough information from your post to be able to say why the app was not connecting but the advice is good to read the manual and follow its steps exactly if you have not already done so. Good luck.

With my Mavic Air, it says that any time I fly more than 2 miles away from where I flew last. I do a compass calibration and it's happy happy happy

I'''ve gone cross country with my Air and the only time I get a compass error is when I try to take off to close to my car. What I do is power down the AC move about 5 feet more away from the car and power up th AC again and its fine.

hi an thanks for all your help now I know why it was saying wjat is saying as I was trying to set it up in my factory it has a big steel roof lol I'm so dumb it must be my blond streeks in my hair but I'm new to all this an yes I got the manual but it says nothing about the message the controller was saying I really appreciate all you guys giving me help my new adventure of flying a drone with a camera in it an I will ask you guys many more questions in the future no dought lol huggzzs for you all my best wishes an regards from me Jasmine xxoo
