Can you post the two videos to see if they look about the same? Here are the results that I pulled from the SRT file. I used an ND16
Without Filter: [iso : 100] [shutter : 1/80.0] [fnum : 280]
With Filter: [iso : 420] [shutter : 1/25.0] [fnum : 280]
Thoughts?
Unfortunately, I already deleted them, but to me they looked identical, which is kind of what I expected. Can you post the two videos to see if they look about the same?
All he meant was that ND filters won't make any difference to the exposure, which is what the OP was wondering about. How so? The point of the ND filter is to slow the shutter speed down, right? Are you saying that on the AUTO setting the drone won't automatically reduce the shutter speed? Not disagreeing, just guess I always assumed that it would do that.
Ahh, ok, that makes more sense. However, I always that the purpose of ND filters was not to get a different exposure, but rather lower the shutter speed, which still happens in auto mode. All he meant was that ND filters won't make any difference to the exposure, which is what the OP was wondering about.
