Air 2s HLG washed out?

I have been playing around with video on my drone and wanted to do more HLG filming. When I film in HLG and then bring it into LightCut it says the program auto adds the HLG profile/Lut to the photo. When I export the footage it always looks really washed out. When I film something similar in Dlog and add the dlog profile it look so much better. Not as much dynamic range but was better colors.

Is this just hot HLG works when not on an HDr monitor?

Yes, that is supposed to work. It will only look correct on a HLG Monitor with the brightness matching the target luminance.
