Ice build up

Havent flown in a few weeks but last time i took mine for a spin it was low cloud and cold when it came down it had ice on it so worth rembering if flying in cold weather do so for short periods of time and bring it down to defrost blades otherwise might hamper stabilaty in flight here is a pic might be usefull

Just curios but how cold was it and what conditions were you flying in as well . Like foggy or what ?

It was cold not major prob -1 -2 at the most low cloud but the speed the props go ice soon builds up i was only up for 5 to 10 min max if you was to have a full 30 min flight im sure you would face a prob lol

Had icing once in a Cessna 172 at about 6000 feet and miles from nearest airport. Changing altitude didn’t help. Tense but made it.
